Tracking competitors
Track the brands that share your AI answers — including ones you didn't know were there, surfaced automatically from the answers themselves.
Your competitor list, kept honest by the data
Every visibility, perception, and citation metric in Analyze AI is comparative — your brand against the competitors you track. The Competitors page manages that set: who's tracked, how often each is being mentioned, and when they last appeared.

The part you'd miss on your own: suggested competitors
The engines don't limit themselves to your known rivals — and neither does Analyze AI. Every AI answer is scanned for entities, and brands that keep appearing in your space without being tracked surface as suggestions, with their mention counts:

This is how you catch a rising player before they're on your radar: if a name shows up 16 times in a week's answers, the market has decided it belongs in your competitive set, whether you agree or not.
Adding competitors manually
Anything the suggestions miss — a stealth rival, a regional player, an adjacent product you benchmark against — add by hand with a name and website:

What tracking a competitor unlocks
Once tracked, a competitor appears everywhere comparisons happen:
- Overview trend charts and the position breakdown (reading your Overview)
- The perception quadrant and battlecards — including counter-plays
- Citation analysis: pages that cite them but not you (citation entities)
Keep the set focused: 5–8 competitors you genuinely compete with beats 20 you occasionally hear about. Every extra competitor adds noise to the charts — and the suggestions list will hold the long tail for you.
